Narrow aisle racking is a type of storage rack. Because the forklift handling channel of the racking system is relatively narrow, it is called narrow aisle or narrow aisle racking.
The main body of the racking system is a beam-type racking system, the difference is that the action rails of the "three-way stacking forklift" are installed on the ground at the bottom of the rack. The guide rails are conventionally made of unequal angle steel. Material handling forklifts are limited to dedicated "three-way stacker forklifts". The three-way stacker forklift slides along the established guide rails. The width of the stacking channel of the racking system is slightly larger than the width of the palletized goods, and high-density storage requirements are realized. At the same time, it inherits all the advantages of the beam racking system. All the materials stored in the racking system are 100% optional, and the forklift can store any pallet of goods at any time. Fast storage efficiency and very high storage density bring significant production efficiency and cost-effectiveness to storage and logistics centers suitable for narrow aisle racking systems.
The biggest feature of narrow alley racks is that the aisle is much narrower than the general beam type, about 1600mm-2000mm, which greatly improves the space utilization rate of the warehouse. Today, with soaring housing prices, narrow aisle racks are favored by many enterprise warehouses. ; This rack needs to be equipped with a special forklift - three-way stacker. This is another feature of it. Because the channel is relatively narrow, it requires the skills of the forklift master, and the driving skills must be relatively skilled. Be careful.
Secondly, after the narrow alley racks are installed, there are guide rails with a height of about 200MM (the guide rails can be made during the civil construction, or they can be made with the prepared guard plates when installing the racks) as the guide system of the forklift, reducing the forklift driver due to human factors. The danger to the shelf is lower than that of the drive-in type.
If the storage or logistics center has the following characteristics, you can consider choosing a narrow aisle racking system:
1. The amount of stored goods is large, the goods are frequently in and out, and there are high picking requirements for goods;
2. The storage and logistics center urgently needs to increase the number of storage spaces or requires a certain amount of storage;
3. The logistics efficiency requires a higher level.
4. The available net height of the warehouse is higher, more than 8M;
5. The forklift can be selected as an independent storage forklift, and it is not planned to use the storage forklift to drive out of the room to perform other tasks.
